Privacy Policy
Your privacy is critically important to us.
This Statement of Privacy applies to Growing Emotions, LLC (“we” or “us”) and governs data collection and usage. We have foundational principles which govern our privacy policy:
- We are thoughtful about the personal information we ask you to provide and the personal information that we collect about you through the operation of our services.
- We store personal information for only as long as we have reason to keep it.
- We aim to make it as simple as possible for you to control what information on your website is shared publicly (or kept private), indexed by search engines, and permanently deleted.
- We aim for full transparency on how we gather, use, and share your personal information.
What Information Is Collected?
We only collect information about you if we have reason to do so – for example, to provide our Services, to communicate with you, or to make our Services better.
We collect this information from three sources: if and when you provide information to us, automatically through operating our Services, and from outside sources. Let’s go over the information that we collect.
Information You Provide to Us
It’s probably no surprise that we collect information that you provide to us directly. Here are some examples:
- Payment and contact information: If you buy something from us, such as a webinar, we’ll collect information to process those payments and contact you. If you buy something from us, such as a seminar or subscription, you’ll provide additional personal and payment information like your name, credit card information, and contact information. We also keep a record of the purchases you’ve made.
- Communications with us (hi there!): You may also provide us with information when you respond to surveys, communicate with us about content you would like to see featured, post a question or comment to one of our posts, or sign up for a newsletter. When you communicate with us via form, email, phone, comment, or otherwise, we store a copy of our communications (including any call recordings as permitted by applicable law).
Information We Collect Automatically
We also collect some information automatically:
- Log information: Like most online service providers, we collect information that web browsers, mobile devices, and servers typically make available, including the browser type, IP address, unique device identifiers, language preference, referring site, the date and time of access, operating system, and mobile network information. We collect log information when you use our Services.
- Location information: We may determine the approximate location of your device from your IP address. We collect and use this information to, for example, calculate how many people visit our Services from certain geographic regions.
- Information from cookies & other technologies: We use cookies and other technologies like pixel tags to help us identify and track visitors, usage, and access preferences for our Services, as well as track and understand email campaign effectiveness and to deliver targeted ads. For more information about our use of cookies and other technologies for tracking, including how you can control the use of cookies, please see our Cookie Policy below.
Cookie Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of data, stored in text files, that are stored on your computer or other device when websites are loaded in a browser. They are widely used to “remember” you and your preferences, either for a single visit (through a “session cookie”) or for multiple repeat visits (using a “persistent cookie”). They ensure a consistent and efficient experience for visitors, and perform essential functions such as allowing users to register and remain logged in. Cookies may be set by the site that you are visiting (known as “first party cookies”), or by third parties, such as those who serve content or provide advertising or analytics services on the website (“third party cookies”). Both websites and HTML emails may also contain other tracking technologies such as “web beacons” or “pixels.” These are typically small transparent images that provide us with statistics, for similar purposes as cookies. They are often used in conjunction with cookies, though they are not stored on your computer in the same way. As a result, if you disable cookies, web beacons may still load, but their functionality will be restricted.
You can delete cookies that are on your computer and most browsers allow you to prevent them from being placed. If you opt to clear or block cookies, you may have to manually adjust some preferences each time you visit a site. Some services and functionalities may also be affected.
How we use cookies
We use cookies for a number of different purposes. Some cookies are necessary for technical reasons; some enable a personalized experience for both visitors and registered users; and some allow the display of advertising from selected third party networks. We also use cookies to identify you as a returning user and count your visits in traffic statistics. Some of these cookies may be set when a page is loaded, or when a visitor takes a particular action (clicking the “like” or “follow” button on a post, for example).
We do not use cookie-related information to identify you personally and we will not use it for any reason other than those previously mentioned. While enabling cookies is not strictly necessary for the functionality of this site, it will provide you with a better browsing experience.
Controlling cookies
Visitors may wish to restrict the use of cookies or completely prevent them from being set. Most browsers provide for ways to control cookie behavior such as the length of time they are stored – either through built-in functionality or by utilizing third party plugins. If you disable cookies, please be aware that some of the features of our service may not function correctly.

For example, by targeting our marketing messages to groups of users, advertising our Services, analyzing the results of our marketing campaigns (like how many people purchased a webinar or paid plan after receiving a marketing message), and understanding and forecasting user retention.
- To protect our Services, our users, and the public. For example, by detecting security incidents; detecting and protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; fighting spam; complying with our legal obligations; and protecting the rights and property of GrowingEmotions.com and others, which may result in us, for example, declining a transaction or terminating Services.

They may also use cookies to gather information to determine effectiveness of advertising efforts. The only time this information will include personally identifiable information is if you disclose this information through an ad or email message to one of these companies.
We will never provide these companies with any of your personal information.
How Long We Keep Information
We generally discard information about you when it’s no longer needed for the purposes for which we collect and use it — described in the section above on How and Why We Use Information.

While no online service is 100% secure, we work very hard to protect information about you against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction, and take reasonable measures to do so. Any sensitive information that is collected is encrypted and transmitted to us by secure servers.

- Set your browser to reject cookies: You can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies before using our website, with the drawback that certain features on our website may not function properly without the aid of cookies. Review our cookie policy above for more information.
- Close your account: While we’d be very sad to see you go, you can close your account if you no longer want to use our Services. Please keep in mind we will keep your information on file to comply with legal obligations such as law enforcement requests or for that which is reasonably needed for our legitimate business interests such as filing taxes.
